Prince Abiodun Olaleye Ajibade Emerges As Western Zone Vice President Of National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA)

The Western Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) has concluded its 2026 zonal elections, ushering in a new set of executives tasked with steering the affairs of the association in the region.

At the close of the electoral process, Prince Abiodun Olaleye Ajibade of New Realm Travels & Tours Ltd emerged as Vice President, pledging to prioritize professionalism, member support, and sustained industry growth.

In his acceptance speech, Abiodun expressed gratitude to the National President, Dr. Yinka Folami, the National Executive Council, and the Western Zone Board of Trustees for their confidence in him. He described his emergence as an ‘opportunity to give back to an association that has shaped his professional journey’.

He emphasized that leadership is about service and development, promising to remain accessible and responsive while working collaboratively with stakeholders to strengthen the zone’s operations and influence within Nigeria’s travel and tourism sector.

Abiodun also commended past leaders of the zone for their contributions, noting that recent years have seen increased capacity-building initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and industry engagements that have enhanced members’ professional growth.

Alongside the Vice President, other officials that were elected to serve in the 2026–2028 term include:

Adegboola Olufemi Peter—Zonal Financial Secretary (Moment Continental Travels)

Adewale Dada—Zonal Public Relations Officer (The Good Travels & Tours Ltd)

Temitope Ogunsebikan—Zonal Internal Auditor (El Accesso Travels & Tour Ltd)

The Western Zone Board of Trustees, represented by Kofoworola Akanni‑Aluko and Naji Halawi, had earlier confirmed the candidates’ qualification to contest, congratulating them and wishing all participants success during the process.

With the new leadership team in place, stakeholders within the association say expectations are high for deeper collaboration, stronger advocacy, and initiatives that will further position the Western Zone as a hub of excellence within NANTA.

Abiodun concluded his remarks by calling for unity among members, expressing optimism that collective effort will enable the zone to build on its achievements and unlock new opportunities for growth in Nigeria’s travel industry.
