2027 Elections: Atiku Urges Voters To Collect PVCs Ahead Of Polls

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has appealed to Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a post on X on Wednesday, Atiku said the call is directed at Nigerians of all ages following economic hardship and insecurity.

According to him, it is very difficult for many parents to feed their children, while pensioners are struggling to buy medicine and food.

The former Vice President further stated that the youths spend almost all their earnings on transport, rent and other basic needs.

He asserted that many families are overwhelmed by fear fear of kidnapping and attacks.

According to him, no family should have to contend with hunger and insecurity at the same time, adding that hardship should not become the future inherited by the next generation.

“If you are a registered voter, please go and collect your PVC. Hold on to it. It is your voice, your choice and your peaceful power to demand change,” he said.
