Breaking: Hon. Ojugbele Emerges APC Consesus Senatorial Candidate

Report reaching VOA News right now has it that Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele has emerged as APC Senatorial consesus Candidate in Ogun West.

A source among party stakeholders who broke thr news to VOA News Correspondent said that Hon. Ojugbele became the consesus choice after stakeholders took a wholelistic look at options available. A decision that was taken today in Abeokuta.

In the same vein, High Chief Taofeeq Olanrewaju Bashorun (Seriki of Ota) has also emerged as House of Representatives consensus choice while Hon. Okiki Olundegun has also been agreed unanimously as House of Assembly Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress to represent Ota State Constituency 1 in the 2027 general elections.
