Breaking: KLM Appointed As DG, APC Ogun West Senatorial Campaign Team

Hon. Kolawole Mobounduro Lawal, popularly known as KLM, has been appointed Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun West Senatorial Campaign Team ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Lawal is a former Commissioner in Ogun State and a former member of the House of Representatives, where he represented the people of Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency.

A respected public figure with extensive experience in both the corporate and political sectors, KLM spent several years with ExxonMobil Oil and Gas before taking early retirement in 2010. He made the decision to pursue his longstanding commitment to humanitarian service and the advancement of his people.

Throughout his career, Hon. Lawal has distinguished himself through notable contributions to public service and community development. His achievements have earned him several national and international awards.

Following his appointment, Hon. Lawal expressed his determination to bring his wealth of experience, leadership capacity, and extensive political networks to bear on the campaign.

He pledged to work diligently toward achieving the campaign’s objectives, including securing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid; Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) for Governor of Ogun State; Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele for the Ogun West Senatorial District; and all APC candidates across the district. VOA News report.
