No Mercy For Bandit, Send Them To Allah For Judgement – Islamic Cleric

An Islamic Cleric has raised concerns over rising rate of pardon given to some arrested Bandits in the country.

“I have watched our people bleed. Mothers bury children. Farmers abandon their land. Students kidnapped from schools. And yet some say: “Give the bandits amnesty. Negotiate. Forgive.”

‎I say: There is no amnesty for those who terrorize the innocent.
‎
‎Islam is a religion of mercy, yes. But it is also a religion of justice. The Qur’an is clear: _“The recompense for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is that they be killed or crucified…”_ [Qur’an 5:33].
‎
‎These bandits have waged war against the people. They kill, they rape, they steal, they kidnap our daughters. They have spread _fasad_ — corruption — across Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina, Niger. On what ground do we offer them amnesty while victims get no justice?
‎
‎To those in government: Stop rewarding crime. Arrest them. Try them in court. If the law finds them guilty, let the law punish them. And if they escape the law of man, I say: Send them to Almighty Allah for judgment. For His judgment is certain, and His punishment is severe for oppressors.
‎
‎We cannot build peace on the blood of the innocent. Amnesty without repentance, without restitution, without justice, is injustice to the victims.
‎
‎Pray for our security forces. Pray for the victims. But do not pray for amnesty for the wicked until they drop their weapons, return the kidnapped, and face the law.

‎May Allah protect Nigeria. May He expose and destroy all who profit from this insecurity. Ameen.
