Church Member Breaks Usher’s Nose With Punch Over Front Seat
A church member has reportedly broken an usher’s nose with punch after the later prevented him from using the front row during a Sunday class.
An eye witness, who pleaded anonymity with the name of the church, broke the news to VOA News Correspondent on Sunday. In her words, she said argument began when a guy got to church while the Sunday school was ongoing and he attempted to sit at the front. Meanwhile, the usher, who tried to ensure that the Sunday class was not disrupted, calmly told the guy to use the back seat for the mean time and the argument eventually led to physical exchange that broke the lady usher’s nose.
“We were in church during Sunday school when this guy walked in and the usher on duty tried to prevent him from going to the front to seat so as not to disrupt the Sunday class. The guy, who was not comfortable with the direction, raised his voice at the usher and before church members could intervene, he had already punched the usher in the nose, leaving her with blood stains on her Clothe.
It took the intervention of Pastor and some church elders to restore calmness after chaos engulfed the church service. The guy was later asked to apologize to the usher which he grudgingly did before the service could continue”.
