The man in the video explained that he had gone to a place to play pool (gambling) when he noticed a woman counting a huge sum of money. He said he had never seen that kind of money before, and seeing it had a strong effect on him.

According to him, he is a wheelbarrow pusher who struggles to make ends meet. He said he does not normally steal, but seeing such a large amount of money being counted in front of him tempted him.

He explained that he felt he had no other choice and decided to wait behind and steal the money. He said that if he were a good burglar, he would have left immediately after carrying out the operation. However, he could not escape with the money, and that was how he ended up getting arrested.

He also thanked the police for coming to his rescue, saying that if they had not intervened, he might have been killed.

The man further commended the police for doing their job.

What caught the attention of many people, however, was how fluent the man was in English. Many viewers were surprised that someone who spoke so fluently could become involved in stealing.
