This case adds to a series of similar tragedies in Lagos, where technicians have lost their lives to electrocution.

In one such incident, an electrician identified simply as Sheni was electrocuted while fixing wiring connections at the UNILAG Estate in the Magodo area of the state.

It was said that the tragedy occurred at about 5pm on New Year’s Day.

Residents of the estate had reportedly sought Sheni’s services after experiencing a power outage.
