When Completed, Sango, Ota, Idiroko Road Would Rank Among The Best Roads In The Country – Strabic Construction

The company handling the construction of Sango, Ota/Idiroko road reconstruction, Strabic Construction Limited, has assured that upon completion, the road would rank among the best in the country.

The Construction company said this while dismissing as ‘false and malicious’ reports circulating on social media alleging that the ongoing Atan–Ota–Idiroko road project through Owode in Ogun State was executed below standard.

The company said the claim, which emanated from an anonymous Facebook account, is ‘misleading’ and completely at variance with the facts on ground.

According to Strabic Construction, the project was executed in strict compliance with approved engineering specifications and industry standards, reflecting the company’s longstanding reputation for delivering durable and high-quality infrastructure.

The firm explained that the minor damage recently observed along a section of the drainage was not due to poor workmanship but resulted from an isolated accident involving a truck that reportedly suffered brake failure and rammed into the drainage structure, causing damage to a portion of the facility.

Strabic Construction further disclosed that its engineering team has already been mobilised to the site, with remedial work currently underway to restore the affected section and preserve the integrity of the road infrastructure.

The company urged residents of Owode and neighbouring communities in Ogun State to remain calm and disregard what it described as unverified and misleading narratives circulating on social media.

It also called on the public to exercise responsibility and restraint in sharing information, warning that the spread of unverified claims could undermine ongoing development efforts and erode public confidence in critical infrastructure projects.

Reaffirming its commitment to quality, durability and global best practices, Strabic Construction stressed that the Atan–Ota–Idiroko road project, upon completion, will rank among the finest road infrastructures in the country.

“Our standards remain uncompromising, and our commitment to delivering infrastructure that stands the test of time remains unwavering,” the company stated.
