2027 Ogun House Of Assembly Race: Astute Banker, Otunba Jinad Hammed Joins Race Amidst Rousing Welcome

An Astute Banker cum Activist, Otunba Hammed Abiodun Jinad has made known his intention to contest the Ogun State House of Assembly race in the 2027 general election as member, Ota State Constituency 1.

On why he decided to enter the contest, he said, he understands the struggle and he is quite conscious of the sacrifices of his people and hence, he has hearken the call to serve his people.

“It is a call to serve hence, I reach out to you, not merely as a youthful vibrant Aspirant with ambition, but as a student of the political process, conscious of the sacrifices, struggles, and strategic decisions that seasoned leaders like you have made to sustain democracy, relevancy of our party and governance in our dear state and nation. Specially, I want us to note that aspiration is not a do or die affairs.”

“At this defining moment of my political journey, I have come with workable plans that gives life-transforming opportunities to the youths, empower the women, cater for the old, and prosper our land; therefore I consider it both necessary and honourable to consult you all our leaders whose footprints have shaped the path we now walk”.

Otunba Jinad said he relies on the experience and mobilization of party stakeholders and elders to ensure his aspiration sees the light of the day.

“Your experience across party structures, governance, grassroots mobilization, and statecraft remains invaluable, especially to young politicians like myself who are determined to do politics differently politics rooted in service, loyalty to the people, respect for institutions, and long-term development rather than short-term gain.

Ado-Odo/Ota State Constituency 1 is home of brilliant youths, hardworking people, striving traders, artisans, professionals, and elders who desire responsive representation. Their expectations go beyond rhetoric; they seek accessibility, sincerity, and advocacy that translates into real legislative impact. I am convinced that meaningful representation can only be achieved when youthful energy is properly guided by tested wisdom and that’s what we bring.”

He further promised to work assiduously and in tandem with party structure to ensure timely and effective representation, if given the nod to be in the ballot and eventually, voted to represent them.
